What happens to what you type
The booking form works on this page only. When you send a request, nothing leaves your browser: no message is sent, nothing is stored, and the form is cleared. Without JavaScript the form reloads this site's own page to show its message, and only the treatment and therapist you chose appear in the address bar.
Cookies and tracking
None. The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from other websites: its fonts and photographs are served from this site.
Maps and directions
There is no embedded map: the map on the site is a drawing. The directions links open Apple Maps or Google Maps only when you choose them, and those services' own privacy policies then apply. Directions go to Harrogate town centre, because the salon's address is a demo one.
Phone numbers and social links
The Quiet Room is fictional. Its phone number comes from the range Ofcom keeps for drama, and the Call buttons open a note instead of dialling. It has no social media pages, so those links open a note too.
Photographs, reviews and profiles
Photographs are free stock images used for illustration; nobody in them works at or visited a real The Quiet Room. The team's names are fictional, and reviews, ratings and qualifications are samples, labelled so.
On a real website
A live version of this site would say here who runs it, what the booking form collects (a name and a phone number or email address), why, how long it is kept and how to ask for it to be deleted.
